Hi guys, was hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Have been on the forum for a few months now lurking in the shadows, searching for answers. However, there's one thing that I'm not sure about, the rear leaf springs.
1.
My truck is doing the stanky, the gangster sag on the driver side in the rear. I've checked for forum and know its due to the gas tank on the driver side. The thing I can't figure out is which leaf springs to get and where to get them to save a dime or two. I'm installing everything myself. I'm looking to get either to stock leveled look, may be ok with slight lift or stiffness. What do you guys recommend, please help.
2.
Also, I have a really annoying problem that I can't pinpoint. When I come to a stop, the car has a strange jerk. Like I'm coming to a red light and as I'm holding the brakes the car tends to lean forward and up as any other car does naturally. Once it stops though, it feels like it drops down at the rear. I was thinking this maybe related to the leafs and if changed out, the problem will go away.
Any input appreciated....
I've already changed out all the shocks, ball joints, rear shackles, some other suspension parts including bushings. The Leaf springs are driving me nuts each time I look at the truck.
Thanks in advance!
