I tried searching the forum but, the page won't load for some reason.
This one has me baffled. Key off, removed from switch, all doors open, dome lights on.......and the windows will still roll up and down with both the master switch and individual door switches.
We probably never would have noticed this but, had a dead battery 2 days ago and couldn't even jump start it. After charging the battery back up, it cranks and runs just fine but, we discovered the window issue when a switch was accidentally bumped while getting out of the vehicle.
1. Could this circuit staying energized, be what drained the battery in the first place?
2. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Wait...........I just thought of something. Is the drivers door the only one that cancels this function or does it cut off when "any" door is opened?
I ask because, I noticed the drivers door jamb switch doesn't seem to be working...........dome light doesn't come on when it's opened. The dome light only comes on when one of the other doors are opened.
If this is the case, where is the darn thing? It's not in any of the obvious places.
