2000 mountaineer v8 awd
hi everyone! I dont know if this has been on here before or not so I am just posting it. I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer V8 AWD and have been having problems with the abs. Ok here is what happens as i am coming to a stop(at a light, stop sign or anywhere) my abs kicks in. The abs light isnt on and I have no clue what to do now. Rotors and pads have less than 500 miles on them. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please and thank you....

Sounds like you have a abs sensor dropping out. You have to monitor the sensors with a scan tool to see which one is dropping out.

so that means i just need a new one then right?
