2000 ranger 91 navajo transmision swap

ok my buddy is switching 91 navajo 5 speed into a 2000 ford ranger that has an automatic in it now . is there kit or a book that shows the change in the wiring harness.the clips on the harness for the navajo are round and the clip on the ranger they are square. both have the 4.0 motor and both are 4 wheel drive. can any give me some help with this project to pass on to him for the hook ups for the wiring harness thx

your best bet is gonna be to get the correct pcm and trans harness from a salvage yard, as it wont run right with the pcm for the auto trans

whats the pcm? sorry itsfor my friend I know nothing about it
