2001 Explorer Sport 4.0L Granatelli Mass Air Flow Sensor

[4.0L Sleeper]

has anyone installed this product, it claims 11 hp and 11lb-ft torque to the wheels. 2 questions:
1. Will it throw the timing off?
2. Is it really that good?

I looked into both Pro-M and Granatelli some time ago and never really found any information to suggest that you'd get any where near the gains they advertise. It seems that there might be some marginal gain depending on your other mods, but overall aftermarket MAF upgrades for Explorers seem to be expensive upgrades for marginal gains. Alidive reviewed his Granatelli here and wasn't too high on it.
