I am going to put a set of step rails on my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. I have picked up a set of the factory tubular step rails from a junk yard, but they did not have any of the attaching hardware. What am I going to have to have to put these on? The brackets are on the rails, but no bolts. Is there anything else other than some bolts, that I will need? Are there any type of plate or something else I'll need? Thanks in advance. :us:

Not sure about the factory tube steps...but I got a set of Westin sidesteps for my 2001 Explorer Sport and besides the brackets...they just BOLT right on!

okay

Okay, that's kinda what I figured, but I wasn't sure. I had a 2000 Explorer Sport with the rails, but I don't rmember ever looking to see how they were attached. Thanks again. :D

Another Question: Same Topic

Can anyone advise me what the rails bolt to underneath? Looking and holding the rail under there, I can't really see what they bolt to. :(

just use scotch tape and attach them to the frame.

j/k i dunno. Good luck :)
