Ok from the beginning.
For the past few weeks i've had trouble getting the car to go, when it went I had it would lag in 2 and 3rd gear. I changed out the fluid and the filter on the transmission. After I did that it got better for about a week. Then it started back with the same problems. About 2 weeks ago while I was at a doctors appointment while parking in a parking garage it just stopped going. I still have reverse that works fine.
From what i've read reverse is related to low gear...
I checked the valve body gasket and changed both of them out. All the pieces are still good in the valve body, have all 4 check balls, the screen, the epc limit valve and the converter relief valve.
Is my transmission gone or is there something else I can do? I'm not great with transmission work but I have enough of a brain that I can read and learn what to do. I just am at a loss for what could be going wrong other than replacing or rebuilding a transmission
