Hey guys, im new here. Im trying to figure out a friends truck, I work as a Truck / Transport Mechanic so im not afraid of getting my hands dirty.
Here is the problem.
she described to me that the heat only worked on high, immediatley i assumed blower motor resistor. we changed that and nothing changed. I did some tests and found that the relay was not getting a signal to switch.
-At the 30 terminal there is power and if i jump to the 87 terminal, i get the blower to turn on, high only.
- No blown fuses
- Blower motor spins slowly at low speed, but not enough to blow air or provide heat.
Im starting to lean toward the switch, is there a schematic somewhere i can look at? or anything else i should know about?
