2001 Ranger Edge A/C vacuum problem and wheel bearing question?

Okay, So i am in the military and just returned to the states where I have found my Ranger in disrepair. Amongst my problems my a/c will only blow from the defrost. I havnt gotten real into it yet but I could use some help with how to find a vacuum leak. I am pretty sure that is the problem. I also could use some help with front wheel bearings on my ranger. its a 2001 edge so it has torsion bar suspension in the front and i can only find info on the coil suspension. Any help i can get would be a lot of help. thanks everyone.
