2001 Sport Trac. Air control problem.

my truck only blows air out of the defrost vent. where is the problem. the air and heat both work i just can not control where the air blows out from. i.e face, feet, defrost.
it is too damn hot out here in ky for this problem. i have had to leave my truck parked in the garage because of this.
please help.

Sounds like a possible vacuum leak, when there is no vacuum the hvac system defaults to defrost. Welcome to the site!

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the A/C & heater section. Check the hard plastic color coded vacuum lines under the hood for cracks near the rubber boot.
