2001 Xlt ?

How do I know if my 2001 XLT has the sport package and what is it?

How many doors does it have?

2 doors = sport
4 doors = grocery getter

It has 4 doors, but it has 16" wheels, fender flares, pipe style running boards.

It's very confusing with all the options and then there seems to be a sport package.

Trying to figure out what I have and what its called(lol).

I've seen a lot of XLT's with those same options. I'm pretty sure an explorer is only a sport if it has the shorter wheelbase (2 doors).

yes sport is only 2 doors......maby yours is an eddie bauer?.....is it leather?....or an easier way to tell is do the seats say eddie bauer on them?

No I don't believe it is an E. B. edition( nothing on the seats)

I have seen info about the XLT having 15" wheels and an XLT with sport package having 16" wheels

This is what it has

2001 Xlt 4door v6 4x4

Green with gray bottom all around(including bumpersand fender flares)
16" wheels
Pipe style running boards
fog lights
grey interior cloth seats
power everything
rear stereo/ac/heater controls

looks like your stock explorer. thats how they came here in australia, the xlt's anyway. but they were not greay at the bottom, they were bronze and chromed.
