Although this question may be old, I need to know if there are any common leak areas for the Explorer's (4.6L) A/C system. Mine was recharged shortly after I bought the vehicle- about 4 weeks ago- and it now blows room-temp air, at best, so the refrigerant has leaked somewhere.
A side issue- I noticed that the passenger side vents on the dash weren't blowing cold, but room temp, even when the system was charged. Even on 'dual' setting, with both temps set to 60, the right-side vents stayed ambient temp, while the driver side got properly cold.
Any thoughts/ideas from the forum?
