2002 Explorer Eddie Bower HID Fog Lamp

I was wondering if anyone had any issues with HID upgrades to their fog lamps on the 02 EB? I recently purchased SBX HID for Low Beams and Fog Lamps. The Low Beams installed great and look great. But the 9145 fog lamp kit does not fit. For two reasons. The original bulb I removed has only (2) "tabs" on the flange and the new HID bulb, like the headlamp, has three "tabs" and it will just not sit into the housing. secondly the connection to the vehicle connector is not the same. The connections aren't lined up. Originally I thought the manufacturer labeled the box incorrectly and they are sending me out a new 9145 kit. However, looking online for other 9145 replacement bulbs I am seeing they all have the (3) "tabs" in the flange and I do not know why mine would only have (2). Any thoughts? Thanks
