I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT that slips into 4x4. It appears to occur when the weather is colder, (50 degrees or colder). I can shift it back into 2 wheel drive but will slip back into 4 wheel drive until explorer warms up. Once warm, the explorer can be shifted into 2 wheel drive and it will stay there.
Any advice?
