Hello everyone, i have a 2002 explorer xlt, production date 05/02 my transmission is 5r55s no overdrive, no 5th gear and takes forever to switch from 1st to 2nd, i just found a nice rebuilt 5r55w production date of 03/02, can i install that one on my car????? Please let know... Thank you

2002 Explorer Transmission 5R55S Problems can I replace with a 5R55W???

You should have a 5R55W in your vehicle. The 5R55S was available on the later models.
