2002 Ford Explorer Computer for AC

Hello, Does anyone happen to know the part number for the computer that controls the Air Conditioning in a 2002 Ford Explorer? We live in Mexico and the mechanic here says it is impossible to see the part number. We must order and have shipped from the states. Thank you! Karen

The ac is controlled by switches found in the engine bay, the ac selector switch in the cab (on, off, max air, hot/cold etc) and the ECU.
The mechanic needs to be more clear on which item he/she is looking at. Can you describe it's shape and size? Or post a picture via photobucket or the like.

Probably talking about the eatc module if you have the dual climate controlled system. Here's a google search with mucho info about repairing/rebuilding the eatc:

Pretty pricy for new. I would certainly make sure that's what you need before ordering as they won't take electronics parts back.
