2002 Ford Explorer Sport. Tire size question.

i recently baught a 2002 ford explorer sport and am looking to do a 3 inch susp lift and not sure about what size tires i could go up to without having to look into wheel spacers because i was told that if i was to use wheel spaces it would eat threw wheel bearings very quick.

Welcome to the forum. Wheels spacers are not needed. There is a section of the forum that has all of that tire stuff posed.

I have just a TT and shackles. I have 285/75/16 on stock wheels. I do get a small rub at full lock

I have a 2002 ford explorer it has 245/65/17 can I put 265/75/17 on it

i fit 265/75/16 stock without a problem. slight rubbing at full turn but i can still make all u-turn s without a problem
