It was a good game!

Can you please tell me exactly what your issue is so I make sure I send you the correct info.

I am having very similar issues to what has been posted in this thread...

Problem Is..

- Key in the Ignition
Nothing happens.. Car doesnt turn over, basically doesnt recognize the key. (Tried both keys).

- Door Locks
All locks are not working.
Pressing the lock/unlock buttons doesnt work on either door.
Pressing the unlock button on the aftermarket remote will Double Chirp indicating its unlocking the doors but the doors remain locked.
I unlock the doors using the key and manually open all the doors from the inside.

Every other function of the vechile works without issue.

Note,
- Remote Start will start the vehicle.
- You then need to "open" the doors via the remote to disable the aftermarket alarm.
- You open the door with the key.
- Put the key in the iginiton.

At this point your able to drive away and use the vehicle.

- Once driving, the vehicle will auto lock all doors like it always has done in the past.

Prior to the above I was having no issues with this vehicle. I was going to wait untill spring/summer but with 2 kids, very cold temps and having to jump into the vehicle to unlock all the doors has pushed me to look into this ASAP.

Based on looking at the schematic's and my symptons I was feeling it could be one of the following.. I could be way off but looking for any idea's..
- Once of the fuses?
- Cut Wire/Ground to the Central Security Module?
- Faulty Central Security Module?

- When using the remote start does it bypass the Central Security Module?
- I found allot of good info on door locks but I cant relate not being able to start the truck with the key and the door locks not working together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Rondo! I'll get in on this thread too! I know it's a little older but this too is my EXACT issue. Might as well keep this all in one place since so many people seem to have almost the similar issue.

So no one found a fix for it here either?

It's definitely not my door wiring. I've gone threw that like 4 times now both by myself and with a friend. Like I said, I get like a relay "CLICK" when I press the lock button. Again it's coming from the back passenger side I believe.

What do we have back there that is electronic?

Since you already have a thread for this topic, we can conduct business over there:
