2002 instrument cluster help needed.

not sure if this is the right place to post this but looking for help regarding the instrument cluster on my 02 explorer. oil pressure gauge is jumping up and down and need a new instrument cluster. can i transfer the message center from my old one to a new used one i purchase. all ebay sales say without message center. any help would be appreciated. thank

have you replaced the oil sending unit? thats the most common failure and usually a cheap fix, before you get a cluster. As for the message center you would have to look to see if you can remove the old one. You already have the wiring, i would think its a replaceable module, but i can only guess its doable.

Yes you can remove and replace your message center.

i have an extra set of 02 mountaineer gauges w/o the message center if your interested. you can swap your MC from your old set to a new one. PM me if your interested
