2003 Explorer 4.6 Vortech Supercharged dyno tuned

Got my explorer with a few mods dyno tuned on a mustang dyno today. Made 339 rwhp/341 rwtq. What do you guys think?

Truck has 3" exhaust with flowmaster 70 and an aftercooled Vortech supercharger setup for performance and a BTF spacer 1.75"/1.5" lift and 245/75/17 Firestone AT's.

Sounds pretty sweet. I believe that's the power that the 5.4 Navi engine puts out.

I was thinking of getting the FM 70, because it's quieter than the 40 series. Post a video of your exhaust if you would.

I'll have to get a better video of the exhaust. I have the one above on the dyno and the one below that is part throttle with the window down the day I got the exhaust. My exhaust is 3" from the Y back. I am really happy with the exhaust, it has a nice rumble and no resonance inside the cabin. With the cruise set on the highway it is barely audible inside.

Just when I thought I wanted to sell my Explorer, you post this up. Can you provide more in depth pictures of what you did, what Vortech unit you used and how you pulled it all together? I put down 216hp NA and would love to break the 300hp mark!!!

I also run a FM 70 series and agree 100% with what you said.

The head unit is a Vortech V2SQ S-trim and I used a Vortech aftercooler (I had all of this and the heat exchanger laying around from my other car when I took it off.) Using a V3 supercharger would be easier as it is self contained and doesn't need an external oil feed and drain like mine did.

The bracket is a Vortech bracket from a 2005-2010 Mustang GT 3V as they use the same front timing cover and belt tensioner as the Explorer. I had to cut off part of the power steering reservoir bracket and mount the reservoir to the lower bolt of the blower bracket. Also, there is JUST enough room for the blower with the smallest air filter made that is the right size flange to fit the blower inlet (K&N). The filter actually barely rubbed the radiator so I used an L bracket to pull the top of the radiator forward about 1/4" so you can see light between the filter and the radiator. Also, I needed to do an electric fan conversion to free up room.
