2003 Explorer Limited V8 Transmission

I have a 2003 Explorer Limited 4.6L V8 Auto. When changing from 1st to 2nd gear there is a bad 'flat spot'. It feels like there is no power for around 2-3 seconds until it comes on in 2nd. Same happens from 2nd to 3rd but nowhere near as bad. Solenoid and valve bodies have been replaced recently but still the same. Thought it might have been a bad plug or coil so all were replaced today but guess what?... Still the same
Any suggestions?

Probably the usual worn servo bore problem.

Fuel filter will give symptoms similar to what you are describing.

New filter about 6 months ago. That was my first thought too
