Hi guys,

I went to my mechanic because today hit the upper 90F weather over here and the A/C was not keeping very cold so I talked to the mechanic that lastly replaced my A/C Condenser well the A/C Condenser is perfectly fine the leak is now coming from A Main AC Line from my understanding its on the right hand side passenger wheel you have to look up and move a cover theres a major leak there. I lost 11 ounces of freon...

So he told me that I need replaced was that leak & the A/C Accumalator doesnt know a price range yet but will find out tomorrow.

Any ideas guys how much the parts would cost ruffly..The Freon is all covered its free so I really dont know what to say at this point now

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks guys

Same leak

Lools like mine is leaking at the same location. I assume you've fixed yours by now, but mine appears to be the o-ring where the line connects most forward from the compressor line. I spotted it while doing upper ball joints and trying to trace a nagging water leak. I spotted the factory dye from the cooling system. I'm going to try replacing the o-ring and see if that does it. I think removing the passenger wheel and splash guard will give me enough room-I hope.

A/C leak?

Any luck on the A/C leak and repair? I have the same issue. Will look at it this weekend.

No attempt to fix it yet. I put guages on, and I was low, so I topped it off with a pound of refridgerant which included some dye. I'm looking at a heater core on the same truck, and ac has to be drained for that repair. I'll most likely fix both at the same time in the spring. I do believe it's o rings, and would be a simple fix. I'd replace the office tube and receiver at the same time as the o ring.

Hey Boys yeah I fixed mine and its been working great. Nice & cold

What was the fix? O rings, Compressor?

Thanks

RH Under body AC line 2 small cracks

I've got 2 small cracks repaired them with liquid metal spread over a piece beer can material wrapped 3 times with 3 new hose clamps. Pressure tested with nitrogen 100 psi seems to be holding .

I am expecting some hate mail for doing this so feel free to run me down.

I did fit a new Condenser and receiver dryer though and i intend to check the rear filter inline
