- 2003 Explorer XLT 4WD
So I have recently just purchased an 03 explorer xlt with 148k miles and have been experiencing an idling issue. Haven't really noticed any issues in performance and the transmission is shifting smoothly. I currently don't have a CEL and I have tried running a can of sea foam in the fuel tank to figure out if it was maybe just an issue with the dirty injectors, carbon build up etc, but recieved no luck. Every few seconds it wants to drop what appears to be 100 rpms for a split second and feels like its about to stall. I have also tested if maybe the A/C clutch is drawing a bit more power than usual, but it still is doing it even with the A/C turned off. So with that being said, I have decided to make a forum post about it to see if anybody could assist in this situation.
Thanks yall!
