I have a 2003 XLT with 21,000 miles on it.
My question is this:
When I first start up my vehicle, it starts fine, and idles fine. When I pull out of the driveway, and take off, I notice that for the first couple of minutes driving, the engine seems louder than normal, and it lacks acceleration power.
After a couple minutes pass, it works perfectly.
Whats odd is, this only seems to happen after the vehicle has been sitting for, I'd say, more than 4 hours parked. If we stop at a restaurant for 45 minutes, and get back in, out there is no problem at all.
Any ideas?
