2004 Eddie Bauer V8 with a code.

I have fail safe code appearing,dealer installed new throttle body,still appearing($600)! Could this code appear with trans or dif problems also? This is my 3rd explorer. Thanks

according to a dealer I trust, The servo at the throttle pedel is bad. Power pedals on Eddie bauer, ind pedal not available,might have to order a complete pedal assy!! Any suggestions on finding a used one? Thanks

its from salvage yards across the US. I tried to search for the accelerator module with no success. But if you simply look for a 4.6L engine you will get results. If they have an engine, its very likely they have the module. be sure to consider part grade when deciding from which yard to buy from. There is no difference between an EB V8 and an XLT V8, or a Mercury Mountaineer V8. So don't worry if you can't find an EB part, but I would be sure to get one off a V8 explorer and not a V6, just for good measure.
I think you will get best results if you call the yard of your choice directly instead of emailling.
