After saying I'll never own a Ford, my last 4 vehicles have been Fords lol. The newest(and most expensive) is the 2004 Ford Explorer XLT V8. I made my decision on Explorer because there are limited number of decent SUVs, the ride of the explorers and more head room(I'm 6ft 6).
Day one:
The famous crack
Hunter brush Guard and Harbor freight truck lights
New tread
New taillights
The effects of a lot of rain
Conditions I expect to drive in this winter:
Changes since I bought it:
Tail Lights
Upgraded fogs to HID fogs
New head light - had crack in it
New spark plugs - number 8 had water in it and made it run like crap
New K&N Air filter
Yakima RocketBox 16 Rooftop Cargo Box
4 New master craft MSR tires
Hunter Brush Guard
Things to do:
BWM - A failed attempt left me without power to tail lights and license plate lights?
Fix the vacuum cleaner noise because of new air filter
Put in new rear end - mine has metal shavings in it
4 New shocks - has an annoying bump squeak in the rear
