2004 Ford Explorer 4.0 XLT. Noise when I step on the accelerator pedal.

hey, i have a clunk noise coming from the middle of the vehicle, i have replace the transmission, i had a dealer do that, i put in a used transfer case, and i rebuilt the rear end, and it still makes a loud clunk, when i press on the gas pedal and when i release it sometimes, i dont know what i should do next???

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed, and moved your thread to the stock 2002-2005 section. Check the U joint.

its been doing this for about 30,000 miles, but not all the time, if it was the u-joint, i would think it would be shot, i just had the driveshaft out the day before, and it felt tight.. i was thinking maybe rear axle shafts????

check those axle shafts.
Another thought is the diff mounts, trans mounts?
might be called driveline bump.
