Hello all. My 2004 Explorer will go into drive and shift gears even drives with cruise control. I have remote start and one night I accidentally started it with AC full blast. I was notified My car was on and I shut it off. 20 minutes later went to the store and tried to turn around in parking lot and car would not go in reverse. I dropped the pan and no metal shavings were there. However fluid was almost as dark as oil and some thick mud like resign on bottom of pan. What may have triggered this or is it just the tranny is known for going out and I have a little over 200 thousand miles on it?
