2004 tire help

I have a stock 2004 ford explorer eddie bauer,it has 245/65/17 tires on it. Wondering if I can put a larger tire on the factory wheel with stock lift? Or can I use a set of 16" wheels from my 2001 explorer sport? Thanks in advance

Yes you can fit larger tires. There is a sticky thread here somewhere that has all the info. I would not recommend using your 16s though.

I know 265/70r16 is just perfect tire size, research for some set up and looks.
