2005 Explorer Andover MA.
2005 Explorer for parts or repair.
This was a former police car we purchased it with the red repaint. It was about 25K miles when purchased it has about 63K now.
We have owned it for over 5 years.
Over that time there have been a lot of parts put on the. Such as
axles
shocks/struts
front drive shaft.
metal water neck
harmonic balancer
Exhaust
Control arms front and rear
wheel bearings front and rear.
Including the easy fix with all new e brake.
alternator
That car has a rust. It was in an accident 2 years ago.
The engine has had synthetic oil changes since we had so about. And only has 60K 4.0 v6 and it runs good
The transmission stated throwing codes. Solenoid pack and filter did not fix it.
It does still drive
