2006 Eddie Bauer Trans Question

Hi

I have a 2006 Eddie Bauer with 100K kms. its driven mostly in city (50-70kmh)

on few occasions, I noticed that when the vehicle is moving, and I step on the gas, the RPMs go up but the trans , doesn't seem to engage, ...only if i release gas pedal for a few seconds and step on it again , the trans engages....

Any ideas on what to look for, where to start.

What engine ?

Check the level or replace the tranny fluid.

Definitely consider a tranny flush.
