2006 Explorer V8 or 2007 or 2008 V6s

In my research, I've found that many 2006 Explorers V6es have radiator problems by 40k. Seems like there is a design issue. And replacement radiators are on backorder?? So the problems seems pretty prevelent. How about the V8s? Anyone with 2006 Explorer V8s have radiator problems?



How about any 2007s or 2008s with 40k? Any owners of these vehicles have radiator leaking issues?

No idea about the V8's, but I can definitely vouch for the V6's. Cracked radiator.

Yes it seems only the V6 have problems but look at the bright side think of all that room under the hood on the v6 models you have to replace it.
