Hello all -
I apologize if this is a popular topic. I scanned the stickied threads as well as searched using the search feature at the top right, but my verbage may be different so I may have missed it.
Lately in my 2006 Ford Explorer V6 I have noticed that at times, it bangs into reverse. Sometimes there is nothing wrong and shifts smooth as butter, other times it is pretty violent.
I'm bringing the vehicle in on Friday to get my oil changed, my brake fluid changed, and my transmission fluid changed (pretty standard for the 77,000 miles I have I imagine) but I wondered if this was a popular issue and you already were aware of what was happening?
I'm a very broke student so I'm just hoping not to be a victim to insane dealer/mechanics fees.
Any help would certainly be appreciated and again if this has already been researched, I apologize for the repeat.
