I have a 2006 Ford Explorer XLT. I have had the Airbag light on for awhile now. I purchased a Code Reader from Pep Boys which shows a B2996- Restraint System Impact Sensor Status fault. As soon as you turn on the key and/or start the engine the light turns off for a few seconds and then comes on and stays on, without displaying a LFC. I visually checked all 6 impact sensors for corrosion/ damage but nothing is obvious. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
