was wondering if the dc5000 will be enough power for this kit? Think the 7600 will be a better compressor for this kit? Just checking to see which compressor will be better for this application.

Sure

The 5000 will do the job but the 7600 will do just as well.

Ssible lowering coils for our vehicles 06 and above

Hey Curtis,
#
We will get an 07 Explorer in here to take a look at the suspension.# Then we will get back in touch with you and let you know what we think we can do and what the price will be.# Give me a week to make that all happen.# We will talk soon.

Hey thee RM,
I currently have the RM Drag Coils on my 08 Caliber SRT4 (pic included) and they are awesome. I have an issue with my 07 Explorer though. There isn't anyone making a kit to lower it. It is of course an 07, Explorer XLT 2WD 4.6L 6 SPD auto Ironman Package. Biggest problem I have been told is that because the rear axle shafts go right through the rear frame. Eibach started to play around with a coil in 07 and they had issues and stopped pursueing the kit (on the shelf out of the way). http://www.roadbully-offroad.com/3.html#this site is for spacer on top of the coilover and it gives up to 2.5 inches of height. Would it be possible to go down the other direction with the height changing the coils out to a shorter 2.5 inches. I am not sure of the coil spring rate of the stock ones on mine. I love the ride of the Explorer right now but it needs to be lower to the ground because I am going to install a Kenne Bell Super charger http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/46explorer-mountaineer/46explorer-mountaineer.htm#this summer. I am also putting spacers on the hubs to pull the tire out so i can fit a wider low profile tire on.
Thank-You for any information.
Curtis

C-notch!

Hey guys, just looking at the rear end the only way to get a drop out of this vehicle thats more than the 1.5 inches is to C-NOTCH this frame. It can be done and with some help and some balls I am planning on doing so in the near future. A nice c-notch will make the explorers baggable. Will keep everyone updated. C-notch should take me a day or two to install. Thinking I will buy a kit for a Ranger and use what I can out of it. Let me know if you guys have any ideas.
