Hi Everyone! Long time reader, but new poster.

I have a 2007 Ford Explorer 4.0L V6 4X4 throwing ALOT of codes. We use this truck mainly for hauling our small camper (it has been reliable and mostly problem free) but I was off grabbing some supplies with my daughter in town when a delivery truck pulled out in front of us. I hit the brakes hard and barely avoided a massive accident. However, as soon as he cleared the road and I went to drive away - my trucks RPM started pulsing with the check engine light and wrench light on solid. It Immediately went into limp mode as only 3/4 gears worked.

Codes are as follows:
P0743 - Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Electrical
P0750 - Shift Solenoid A Malfunction
P0755 - Shift Solenoid B Malfunction
P0760 - Shift Solenoid C Malfunction
P0765 - Shift Solenoid D Malfunction
P0962 - Pressure Control Solenoid A Control Circuit Low
P0966 - Pressure Control Solenoid B Control Circuit Low
P0970 - Pressure Control Solenoid C Control Circuit Low
P0191 - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
P0171 - Bank 1 System Lean
P0174 - Bank 2 System Lean

There were also 8 P0000 codes but I’m assuming my reader can’t read or translate them. The transmission is a 5R55S 3 sensor unit.

I have been reading threads for hours saying it’s most likely a damaged bit of wiring harness connecting the tranmission sensors or a bad fuse #13 under the hood, but I can’t seem to find any damage. I am handy with a multimeter but I’m at a loss of where to begin as most of the forum threads are for other models of transmission. [Why oh why did Ford need to make so many versions of the same tranny]

Long shot here, but what ended up being your problem. My wife's 2007 Explorer, V6, 4.0, 4x4 just started the same thing. I have a huge list of codes too. Although my wife didn't tell me she hit the brakes hard :)
