My 2007 Mountaineer with 140,000 miles is getting a soft brake pedal. I had replaced all the rotors and pads about a year ago. If I give the pedal a couple pumps it stays up but if I just hit the brakes it has too much travel. I suspect a bad master cylinder. I have a lot of other vehicles I have done brakes on but not with the ABS. I'm concerned about air getting into the ABS module. If I bench bleed the master prior to installing will I have a problem with the module? Can I just go forward and bleed all the calipers after installation without any other problems? Should I just let the dealer take care of it? Thanks, Tater
