2008 Blower Motor Lost 1 & 2

Blower motor only seems to work on settings 3 and 4, although 3 seems weak. Looking around here and the rest of the internet, it sounds like this might be a failing resistor. Anything else I should be chasing? If the resistor is the thing to look at, is it behind the glove box as I've seen in some of the other threads around here? This is a 2008 Explorer XLT with the 4.0, 4WD.

Yup I would suspect it is the resistor! yes its behind the glove box and its not too hard to do your self.
