2008 Explorer 4.0V6. Having issues with getting the air to come out of the floor vents under the dash.

When the selector is set to just the floor, the air comes out of the top defrost vents on the dash.

When set to dash and floor, most of the air comes out of the dash vents.

When set to defrost and floor, most of the air comes out of the defrost.

All the other settings work correctly, just can’t get the air to come out of the floor vents.

The temp control also is working properly.

I checked the black round vacuum resivour under the glove box on the passenger side and the vacuum lines are connected. I even disconnected them, cleaned the part where it attaches to the black resivor.

If I remember correctly, are there check valves somewhere? Maybe located in the engine compartment?

What else do I need to check besides the black vacuum res and possibly the check valves to allow the air to come out of the floor vents.

Getting ready to take it on a ski trip, need heat on the floor or momma won’t be happy!!

Thanks
