I have a 2008 ford explorer that will not start, the control panel reads service RSC now. I have check the battery with a load on it and it holds at 11.97 volts. I have attempted to use a actron cp9180 code reader and received an error message. I have tried this reader in another vehicle of mine and it worked fine. is there anyone out there that can help me? When I turn the key there is a click at the instrument panel or under the dash.

- Does it work with another key?
- Check all battery connections and connections to the starter, alternator and grounds. Look for corrosion or frayed wires.
- Do any accessories work? (e.g., radio, power windows, etc)
