I have read all I could find on this but looking for an update.
I am considering buying 255 65 18 tires for my 2010
Ford Sporttrac. I would enjoy comments from Sporttrac
Drivers that have tried this and had good or bad luck.
Thanks in advance for your response.

255-70-18 on mine. I use these ones in the winter. I only get a very slight rub somewhere on the front inner plastic fender at full lock. Basically not an issue at all. The truck looks like it should have had these from factory.

There’s never a safe answer. The trucks all have a variance in their ride height, and all 255/65-18s aren’t created equal, size wise.

275-55-20, no lift, no rub!

That is an excellent size tire for that truck and the wheels, those are 32" tall.

The OP tires in question will be about 31" tall, varying slightly by maker and tire model.

I have 275/55/17's to go onto my 98 Limited, which being just 29" tall, may be a little short. I could not find a nice 18x9" wheel, only a 17x9" size.
