2011 Explorer Limited
Hi fellas,

So my wife's 2011 limited explorer recently has seen a rather significant gas milage drop. It's gone from averaging low 20's to 17. It's up there in mileage at 199k miles, but has been fine till now.

When I was swapping the plugs this time, I went ahead and changed the primary O2 sensors too. Air filter is new as well. I also changed the rear diff and ptu fluid, had the trans and coolant flushed in the last couple of weeks.

Now... riding with her recently I was looking into the various obd2 pids to see if I could find anything amiss. Here's what a noticed;
Vacuum at idle is about 22in/hg. At cruise it's 8ish.
Afr is 14.7 commanded and measured.
Maf is reading around 300cfm at steady cruise, and 35ish cfm at idle.
Load shows 40% at idle, and 80% at cruise. That seems really high to me.

I had my wife pop the truck into neutral at idle to see if we saw a significant load drop, and we didn't. 2-3%.

So the questions are; what load % is normal at idle for these trucks? What vacuum are you guys seeing at idle/cruise?

Is load % calculated based on maf flow, or vacuum for these?

Cat temp, on case someone asks, was 1400f, which looked normal.

Any other ideas? Bad map sensor? Load values just inaccurate on these?
