2011 Explorer White Platinum Tri Coat. How do they get it shiny?

Hello guys. I have 2011 Explorer Ingot Silver. I'm just wondering how they get that super glossy/metallic finish on the White Platinum Tri Coat. I do not know anything about automotive paints at all but I would like to know how to get the richest shine out of the paint. I know enough to not use peanut butter or oils on my paint but what else is there? Would I need to get some sort of coat? I really want that metallic look! Thanks!
