2011 Explorer Limited
Heres my 2011 Limited with 32'' BFG TA/KO tores on MSR 18" wheels and 2.5'' Traxda Lift kit. Ive been putting my X through some tests...so far these new explorers are very impressive.

So far ive towed:
5100 Lb trailer from Tennessee to Ontario Canada
14,500 Lb Generator/Pump power plant trailer around trucking yard
Crashed Volvo day cab tractor (i have video of)
Mack Cement truck with engine trouble (no camera available)

Flipped over a Jeep so i could get the axle out to do a SAS into my 96 4BT ranger.

AAAAAAND beat the heck out of it in the mud and snow to see what its capable of. so far im VERY impressed and it has not managed to get stuck (mind you i dont go full out bogging with it) ive had it in up to the chrome trim on the doors.

I have LOTS of Awesome pictures of the truck and pictures of the things ive been doing with it as well as videos but for some reason i cant post pictures. I personally think it looks absolutely awesome with what ive done so far...in the future when money permits i want to put a 54" LED light bar on it and grill LED lights.

There's a lot of great info on here. I would like to be able to use it and contribute to it. I'm in the middle of a 4bt and SAS on my 96 ranger as well and this site has tons of info. I just don't see many people going aggressive with their new explorers and wanted to try it...I've had outstanding results

Sent a PM to the main guy and an email I think his name is rick...hopefully this won't take long.

Still waiting for pictures.... I hope your lift looks as great as mine.

He still hasn't activated me yet...starting to get a bit annoyed

Theres a few...towing a HUGE sleeper mack tonight...ill upload pics later of it, i have a video of towing the volvo tractor but you guys get the point i think.

once again like it was nothing

I'm thinking a 51-54" light bar on the top and a couple grill lights will be next. Currently I'm wiring up a 7-pin trailer port. Found a fully sealed 7 and 4 way trailer panel with doors I'll post a pic of later.

Heres the trailer panel. I used the harness that came with my hitch kit and spliced into the reverse light and 12v constant pins that were already there. the only wire i had to run was the trailer brake signal wire.

OMG OMG OMG... I picked an 2012 just after xmas 2014 and have been trolling different posts to see lifted all terrains and gaining advice. What are your thoughts??? I was thinking the 1.5" leveling kit with a 285/45/22 AT tires, not the full lift. What is your back spacing and tire size? Allot are running 285/40/22s not leveled or lifted with no issues, so I figure a little more diameter and level it.

im running 265/65/18 and they rub the K-member on full lock and the splash guard pretty much any angle of turning. i heated my splash guard up where the hump is near the bottom rear and pushed it in a bit and it dosent rub there anymore. On FULL lock in reverse it will rub the k-member still not by much tho. and i have the 2.5"

In case anyone is wondering.... The ride quality is not affected at all with the 2.5" Traxda kit. My X rides just as nice as stock (a lot better after i ditched the 20" wheels and got some real meat) Its still nimble while cornering and dosent sway or roll...its very stable even off road. I almost dont even notice the lift is there, at least until i pull up next to another X.
