2012 Explorer front end popping noise

With the explorer sitting still and turning the wheels to the right there is a popping noise and it can be felt every time in the coil spring. The pop is like a chatter when turning the wheels and does it in both directions. I am thinking the bearing in the strut mount is getting bad. Any suggestions? Thanks.
