I started my Explorer this morning and drove it 100 yards to check out of a hotel. Got back in to leave and the engine would only click when trying to start. Got a jump, but it would die almost immediately. Purchased and installed a new battery and it will start, but won't idle and will only run if you throttle it (but sounds and shakes like a wash machine). I'm getting a Trac System fault, Check Charging System, occasional Low Oil Pressure warning, and it still shows Battery Saving mode. Help....

Did you get it taken care of today? It sounds like an alternator not charging correctly. Just a guess without any deeper analysis of the problem.

Could also have a bad diode which is pulling the voltage down below the threshold for some of the control units to run at.

No word yet. It's currently at the dealer waiting diagnosis.
