2013 Explorer Sony radio

I was wondering if any other owners of the 2013 Limited Explorer with the Sony stock radio are experiencing a 'pulsing' at higher volume levels. No matter the source, once I go above 50% volume a serious pulsing begins with every source. My 'stock' radio is the Sony with 390 watts and 12 speakers. This happens in both surround and stereo modes.

We have not noticed any such pulsing, but then again I have only had the radio that loud once. It doesn't sound good enough to bother turning up that loud.

I never have the radio above like 30 or 35%....it is always way loud by that point. They really should have made the volume control finer so it doesn't have such huge jumps between points

Agreed, especially at lower volume levels. It is a small thing, but it is a really irritating thing for us.
