Hi! I need help! Ive been having issues with my car lately.

It suddenly stops while i am driving especially at low speed or when i slow down from high speed to low speed.

Also when at idle, engine just throttles down almost to a stop and goes back up again to normal idle rev.

And when driving at speed around 80kph, there's a point that its not shifting to higher gear and just doesnt accelerate further.

What could be wrong with my car. I think there might be more that one issue here.

How many kilometres are on the vehicle? What if anything has been tried to correct this issue? It could possibly be a dirty/faulty throttle body.
Have the spark plugs been changed/checked?
Is the coolant level low?

Peter

Hi peter. 73k kms. Im losing coolant though not much, checked the old engine oil, no signs of coolant mixed there. Coolant sensor was recently replaced due to it being faulty and not starting the radiator fan and causing the AC to malfunction, all good now. Planning to replace sparkplugs since i dont remember when it was last changed. I can also hear knocking sound when i first start the engine. Waiting for my obd scanner to arrive to check engine alarm codes.
