2014 Explorer - Door Lock Issues

Hello!
We have a 2014 Explorer Sport, and have had many issues with the door locks. Initially, some were randomly intermittent on whether or not they would automatically unlock, and now it's progressed to the front two doors (as of tonight) being able to still be opened from the exterior, despite being manually locked from the inside or via the keyfob. Would anyone be able to lend a hand in determining the issues that are causing this odd behaviour? The sticking/not always unlocking is an intermittent problem on all doors, and as I said before the front two are not locking at all as of tonight. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Do they lock/unlock normally with the Securicode pad? Is this an issue that happens when using the keyfob or just using the 'touch method' on the front door handles or both? Have you checked the lock/unlock settings to make sure they haven't changed? When you say the front doors aren't locking at all now, does that include locking them by using the switch on the driver's door?

When the locks were sticking/not reliably unlocking or locking, you could hear them try with the Securicode pad. Now the front doors don't do anything, regardless of how you "lock" them, even manually, they still open. We've checked the settings on the car, nothing has changed. The intermittent locks issue has been jumping around from door to door with no real rhyme or reason as to when it happens (at least that we've noticed)

If you lock them manually and try to open them with the fob nearby, the door will open. If you lock the door manually and it opens without the fob anywhere near the vehicle then that's a problem. I have not come across a post with a similar issue although there are several threads on door lock issues.
