Hello!!! I live in Korea.
Living in Korea, I joined the forum because I couldn't get much information about my ford explorer, and I hope to get a lot of help.
Here's what I'm worried about right now.
My vehicle dashboard is a model with a speedometer in the center and a 4.2" LCD on the left and right sides of the speedometer.
I'm very curious if I can display external inputs such as navigation on the speedometer left and right 4.2" LCD.
If you look at the back of the instrument panel, you can see that there are two FFC cables connected to LCD, so it can be judged that the AD board for LCD is built into the instrument panel circuit.
There is also one connector connected to the instrument cluster.
I'm not familiar with it, but I think if I can figure out the instrument panel connector pin arrangement, an external input connection may be possible.
I think there will be pins entered into the AD board of the left and right LCDs, but if there is a member who knows well, it will be very helpful.
Thank you very much for reading the long article.

Welcome to the Forum.
Do you have the 8" Sync screen with the Sony radio? You didn't add which trim level you have. Are you looking to display the actual navigation map on the LCD screen? I doubt that is possible. Some members were able to make some changes to what is displayed using FORScan.

Thank you for your interest. Of course, we have 8 inch Sony audio. Instead of displaying navigation on that screen, I want it to be displayed on a small screen on the left and right sides of the front dashboard speedometer.

I don't know if that is possible, but I doubt it. This subject has not been brought up before. I believe those small screens are preprogrammed as what can be displayed there. Some members successfully used FORScan to activate some of the 'hidden' information displays not included with their vehicle trim but were on higher ones.

Thank you for your answer. First of all, I read the posts Peterk9 wrote and it was very interesting. In Korea, many owners are using hidden features through FORScan. I also made it possible to use climate control. We call the process "coding". However, navigation through sync is not available in Korea, and a separate device is installed to use navigation. Because the additional device easily breaks down, most Korean owners use navigation on their smartphones. In my case, I am using the TorquePro app with another smartphone, so the driving environment is not good because two screens are added. So, although it is a small screen, I asked because I thought it would be possible to build a more pleasant and simplified driving environment if I could input an smartphone image on the 4.2-inch screen installed on the instrument panel.
